War is a fact amongst the Coalition of Orders and, despite the betrayal by a superior mother, Natalie’s pure wit and determination has gained autonomy for her remaining sisters.  However, said circumstances may be just the start of her problems as some have begun to suspect the war as a ruse with ulterior motives.

     Natalie, tired of standing aside during needless hostilities that sees friends and sisters fight against each other, decides it is time to challenge the legality of war altogether by secretly entering when the opportunity arises.  Her actions bring all who trust her to the brink of joining the battle as she also risks everything for a chance to heal her relationship with one man and avoid the threat of another. Does she have the acumen to manage love, politics, and war?  Or will she demand too much from herself and ultimately lose everything?
